"Townhall columnists are passionate and unified in demanding racial profiling in airports. It certainly would make things more efficient if such a program could be installed. I still have one question, which I've asked before but got no answer. How do you tell who's Muslim? Some Muslims are European and have European names. Millions of Muslims are West African and have West African names. Some Muslims are African American and practice a type of Islam which does not serve the general cause. Many Arabs are not Muslim. Many Latin Americans share physical features in common with Arabs, as do many Greeks. Perhaps if we were required to have our religious affiliation printed on our ID documents in order to travel in, from, or to the US, that would solve our problem. Is that what you want?"

É interessante. Está na minha lista o livro "Identity and Violence", de Amartya Sen, que trata da questão. Recomendo este vídeo: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8453136381054285301&q=Amartya+Sen .
Abraços.
